My name is Larry Fursteller. My wife Tina and I purchased a beautiful Longhair Miniature Dachshund from Robin Andres back in July of 2007. Toby has turned out to be such a great addition to our family. He has grown into a happy and healthy little boy and has given us so much joy and love. So much so, that we have now decided to add a little girl (Samantha) to our family. I know Toby is as happy as we are, and now he has a little sister to romp with all day long. We could not be anymore satisfied with the quality and the personalities of our Dachshunds. We would not hesitate for a moment to contact Robin if we decide to add a third baby to our home.

From Roy and Wanda Douglas of Jacksonville-Just wanted to send you a couple of pictures of Crystal at 9 weeks old. She is a real joy. The first time she saw her bed she jumped right in it, laid down and took a nap. Thank you.
Hi Robin,
I thought you might like to see Raina and Meia at one year old today. This has been the best year of my life. They are so lovable and they have turned into beautiful little girls. I still call them my puppies. They still snuggle together when they sleep. They play tag and amuse themselves with their toys. They have been such a joy and I thank you so much. I hope you are doing well.
Deanna and Larry Anderson
Thank you for such a wonderful puppy! Buttons is already potty trained outside! Him and our other dog Peanut are getting along better than expected. Hopefully I will buy from you in a couple of years.
Thanks again. Brenna of Jacksonville. Go Gators!!!!!
Robin,
We purchased Mitzi from you on April 3rd, 2010. The first picture was taken April 7th, 2010. The second picture was taken today, Dec. 31st, 2010. She has been such a blessing for us. She is the sweetest dog and we love her so much. She has made our year a good one.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Thanks,
Harry & Linda Seiler
Robin, It's Loki's mom :) He is doing wonderful. He is such the handsome man, and just discovered he can bark. He loves squeeky toys, and loves to sleep with my husband and I at night. He has also recently discovered that the cat is too much to resist, but they get along fairly well most of the time, unless he decides he wants to play with her. Thank you so much for him. We were thinking about buying a female from you in the next year so we can get Loki a girlfriend :) He's so social.
Mrs. Robin,
I hope you and your family are doing awesome. Dave and I just thought you would enjoy some pictures of Oscar and Guinness at 1 year. Oscar is the dapple and Guinness is the black & tan. Their 1st birthday was May the 30th. I cannot tell you how wonderful they are and how much we absolutely love them. We try to take them every where, where puppies are allowed. They are so loving and try so hard to please. We have been working on tricks since they were babies, they will both sit and sit up, Oscar will speak on command, Guinness leaves barking for the squirrels. And unless there is a particular interesting grasshopper they will come when they are called. They follow me wherever I go and try to do whatever I am doing, whether I am sitting doing homework, they will lay with me, or if I'm doing laundry they try to help by bringing any laundry that falls out of the dryer into the living room and playing tug of war with it. I can't believe it has already been a year and how different their personalities are, but loving and willingness to please are consistent with both of them. We love with all our hearts, they are our boys! Thank you so much for being so dedicated to breeding dogs with such wonderful temperaments. They are the best thing that has happened to us!
Thank you Robin!
Lori, Dave, Oscar & Guinness
Robin, the Ross Family wanted to bring you up to date on Roxie, our recently purchased black and tan long-haired. She is doing great-eats well, sleeps well, and plays well. She is enrolled in obedience class and is doing great with the commands she's learned. Everywhere we go, people comment on what a fine-looking pup she is! It is quite obvious that she has excellent breeding! I'll update you on her as time goes by. Thank you so much for such a wonderful dog!
Hi Robin,
I just wanted to say thank you again for the awesome puppy we brought home 1/26/12! The twins & I have so much fun with her. She's sweet, cuddly & playful, too. She keeps us on our toes, but she's a very good girl. I thought you'd like to see how she literally poses for pictures now! What a ham!
Thank you,
Kathy Kelley

Just wanted to send you an update and a picture :) she is the sweetest thing ever!! We couldn't imagine not having her. She is adjusting well and doing well with potty training.

Hi Robin,
We bought a pup from you back in the summer time. My husband was the one who drove up from Seminole (Tampa area) to get her. I just wanted to update you on her and let you know she is the best addition to our family. She is so spunky and sweet. We just adore her. I am trying to talk my husband into one more but he is resisting so far :) Here is a Christmas picture of Bubbles Pop Henderson with her "boys."
Sincerely,
Carrie Henderson
Mrs. Robin
We wanted to share a picture with you of how beautiful Sophie is now. She has such a great personality, and she is best friends with Penny, our nearly 7-year-old dachshund. Sophie follows Olivia, our 11 year old daughter, everywhere, and they even sleep together. She can sit and stay, she waits patiently for her food until we tell her it's OK to eat, and she we've had her potty trained since about 2 weeks after we got her home. She's 6 months old and 6 lbs., and is absolutely beautiful! She looks like her mom and has her dad's tail. She's our baby, we love her to death, and she is OH SO SPOILED! We thank you for such a wonderful dog!!
Marty is very well, too, but he is now living with Patrick's elderly parents; he keeps them on their toes! He's going to obedience school and is doing great. He's much bigger than Sophie at 11.5 lbs. He's just gorgeous! He's afraid of nothing, so keeping him from going after other dogs has been a challenge for Pat's parents, but he is also the protector of the house. They really love him! As soon as we get a recent picture, we will send that to you.
We thank you again.
Patrick & Darci, Nate, Matthew & Olivia Lanaghan
Robin,
I just wanted to let you know how much we are enjoying our new baby. He is a real character and is getting along great with our 10 year old female, Greta. He has made such a difference for Greta, as you know we had lost our 12 year old male in November to Cushing's disease. She was having a real hard time without him. She is running and playing with Samson, they take naps together and are getting along famously. He had his first booster a week ago, he did not have any ill effects. Also, we are so proud of him, he is using the doggie door to go outside and do his business. No accidents in the house for three days now.Thank you for what great puppies you breed.
Love,
Raymond and Carolyn Brantley
Hi Robin,
I wanted to send you some recent pictures of little Heinz and let you know how wonderfully he is fitting into our family. He is most certainly a dachshund puppy to the fullest extent! He is curious, loving, affectionate, tenacious, and full of mischief, just as he should be! He is now nearly 4 months old and is growing like a little weed. He and our older doxie are getting along perfectly and he has brought a lot of the "puppy" out in her as well. It is hard to see in these pictures but his coat is keeping us guessing right now as he is mostly red like KoKo but also has the dappling like his mom Snowy that is coming up all over! He even has some tufts of white starting to show on his little feet and tail. Ill be sure to send along more pictures as he grows, and thank you again for helping to bring this little guy into our lives :)
Dasha Linton
Robin, we just wanted to let you know how happy our family is since our Little LADY became part of the Rivera family, She is so beautiful, SMART!, funny, loving, special. She brings so much love to our home. You are the BEST! It’s so special to know someone who trully loves and cares for all your "precious" as you call all of the Dogs. Also, thank you for LADY'S blanket, she has to have it before going nightie night.
Millie & Frank Rivera
Hi Robin!
We got our first baby Tina from you 09/23/2012! Right away I felt so happy we went to you, and I appreciated the way you let me and my husband Rocky watch her grow weekly! The whole experience was so great and comforting knowing how nurturing you were with the puppies! During Tina's purchase I fell in love with all the puppies we decided to buy again and waited for the next litter to get our second baby Benny. Week after week for four months you welcomed me into your home to share in the growing experience! I'll forever be grateful to you for giving us the most sweetest, loving, playful babies! I'm currently trying to convince Rocky for a third! Can't wait! Hopefully I'll see you soon:)
Thank You Robin

Hi Robin! I just wanted to tell you how happy we all are. Tony, TEDDY BEAR, Sprinkle Pie Cupcake and Sparkle are a VERY happy bunch!
Yes, we decided on Teddy Bear. As we were on our way home, Tony looked down at him and said that "he looks like a little bear". I immediatly looked at him and said "Teddy Bear, that's it!"
He has adjusted very well. He goes on his little puppy pads and has done well going out in the yard. Just a few accidents because sometimes it is hard to tell if he actually went when he goes outside ha-ha! He's so small :)
We got him a bed/crate to sleep in at night and he seems to do well. Last night he fell asleep on Tony's neck. A little later Tony put him in his bed (which is right next to ours) and little Teddy only cried for a few seconds until Tony touched his nose....SOOOOO CUTE!
He has decided that he must be my shadow whereever I am and I am so happy about that. I was doing laundry last night and he just curled up on my foot. He also decided that he would explore the shower, so I let him figure out that water is ok and he let me give him a little bath. The most crazy thing is that he fell asleep when I blew dryed him. He LOVED being warm.
Oh, I could just write you a book! He is the sweetest, cutest happiest little thing and Tony and I are just so HAPPY! Thank you so very much for everything! He is going to be one of the most spoiled puppies in the world. His Nini is especially excited! We are going to make announcements to send out.
I will make sure to send you one and keep you posted! I know I am crazy, but I am thinking I might start a little "Teddy Bear" facebook page of him to share with my friends and family :) He's just too precious to not show off!
Oh, we are taking him to our vet on Saturday. They cannot wait to meet him. After that we are going to go shopping and get him more STUFF to play with...and an outfit or two ha-ha!
Anyway, I will keep you posted and I will send more pictures soon :)
Thanks again,
The Shubert's

Hey Robin,
We wanted to send you some photos of Teddy, letting you all know how he's doing. He is growing like a weed and has won everyone over. He gets along very well with his new brother, Copper, and his two dacshund friends next door. He has made us all so happy and we are glad he's part of our family. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Robin Happy Tuesday!
On March 31st 2013, our lives were forever changed. That was when we came out to meet you and your lovely puppies. That was when we met and fell in love with Leonard. You were kind enough to let us come out every Sunday to visit our newest family member. We also appreciated that you let him stay there for an extra week while we were on vacation. When the big day came to bring him home we were so excited! Leonard has been in our home for 3 weeks now and all is great. He has really come out of his shell and is playing with Jazzie ( our Westie) his new friend. Leonard is the sweetest and happiest puppy that there can be. Thank you for everything!
Hope you have a great day!
Mark, Mandy, Jazzie and Leonard
Robin,
I just wanted to give you a quick update on "Tootsie". She has had a wonderful first week in her new home. Tootsie sat "first class" on the flight home to D.C. and had all the flight attendants giving her attention. She is already a little princess. My daughter burst into tears of joy when my husband walked in with her. Tootsie was a little scared that night and was shaking from the day of vaccinations, a flight and meeting her new family. I was pleased that she wan't intimidated by Barry and Freckles, who must have appeared as "giants" to her. They seemed very curious and happy to meet her. Freckles (the Blue-Tic Coonhound), has assumed duties as surrogate mother. It has been the sweetest thing watching this huge hound lay down and clean Tootsie's ears. She is constantly by her side and "mothers" and plays with her. It has been heart-warming to see another side of our assertive "blabbermouth" coonhound. I have a video of her literally hugging Tootsie the 2nd day she was here. In fact Tootsie looks for her to cuddle with now. Barry (our Foxhound) tries to play with her but Freckles steers him away, motherly instinct in charge. He seems to have accepted her as well and plays with her when we have Freckles out of the room. Its fun to watch a 70 pound dog play so gentle with a 3 pound dog. He has even let her take his favorite ball right from his possession. Tootsie has already met some of the 4-H puppy pal members and after she is 6 months old she can begin training with the club to do obedience, agility (tunnels, jumps etc.) showmanship and rally.
Aside from her obvious adjustment to our home, she absolutely loves to cuddle with us. It seems to be her favorite place....in someone's arms or lap. She is sweet, outgoing and confident despite her small size. I just wanted to thank you and say that you have done a wonderful job of raising her. Your puppies obviously get lots of physical love and are totally comfortable with humans and other dogs. I noticed that from the beginning when my sister brought "Teddy Bear" home a couple of years ago. He was and still is a wonderful, if not very spoiled, dachshund. The fact that he is so well bred not to mention very dashing and handsome left no question as to where I would get my daughter's dachshund. It was well worth the trip to Jacksonville to know that we would be getting a happy, healthy and loving dachshund. While I'm proud of the fact that our other two dogs are "rescue's" from our local shelter, I am also proud of the fact that I have purchased Tootsie from a certified breeder with an excellent reputation of love and caring for the breed. I have already had inquiries as to why I went all the way down to Jacksonville to get Tootsie and I'm more than happy to tell them why.
I will be sending you some photo's of Tootsie in a separate email so you can see how much she's grown in just a week
Take care Thank you again!

Hi Robin,
The girls were excellent on their almost eight hour ride home, could not have asked for them to be any better, We had one throw up early on, but after that, all was well. They are now training me to go outside every hour.
They have made themselves right at home and are enjoying the cooler mountain weather. My house has the appearance of a day care center with toys all over, but I could not be happier with my choice to take two. Next week I will introduce them to downtown Blue Ridge, a very pet friendly area that welcomes the dogs on the main street.
The pups are beautiful and are showing great personalities. They play well together and watch everything the other is doing. Nestlee is not as quiet as I thought, she is often the instigator.
You do a wonderful job with the breeding and I was very impressed with the cleanliness of their area, even with the multiple litters you had. I would make the drive to Jacksonville again if I were looking for a beautiful dachshund, and will recommend you to anyone I know interested in having a dachshund in their life.
Will be sending pictures just as soon as they are quiet long enough to sit together.
Hope you are doing well.
Carol
Hi Robin,
It’s Tim and Beth, the happy owners of Emma and Tupper! We wanted to let you know that they are doing very well and are frolicking around and playing hard like siblings should. We came to you looking for a puppy, and somewhere along the way, we fell in love with two of them and ended up taking them home. They have become a part of our family now. Our older Doxie, Izzie, and our cat, Floyd, have come to accept them as well. We wanted to thank you for the beautiful Doxies and the times you allowed us to come visit you and them while they were still babies. They have passed all their vet visits with flying colors and are healthy and happy. When we took our pups for their initial vet checkup, the vet told us after examining the pups and their paperwork, that these had obviously come from a very good breeder. This was a solid testimony to how well you take care of your Doxie’s! Everywhere we go, people ask us where we got our beautiful puppies and we proudly told them. They have brought us so much joy and we can’t thank you enough for allowing us to take these sweet puppies home with us. We miss your home and your wonderful collection of doxie moms and dad, Koko. Tell Jeff we said hello.
Thank you again.

Hi Robin,
I couldn’t wait to get home and write you. Just had the girls to their new vet for their first appointment. They were checked over thoroughly and the vet said repeatedly, “they are beautiful” – “real keepers”. He couldn’t get over their appearance and, of course, wanted to know where I had gotten them. I proudly told him from Robin’s Dachshund Nest in Jacksonville.
Nestlee weighed in at 3.34 pounds, Hershee is 4.16.

Hi Robin!
I just wanted to let you know that our little boy Bentley is a pure joy! He is bright, loving, playful and pure dachshund fiesty! He is getting along with our 13 yr old Barney although I think he wishes the old man would play more! Our grandson loves "watching the puppy" for me and has truly fallen in love with him. Bentley is so bright...since we first brought him home he has always used the training pad to my husband's pure amazement. Sure is a blessing in the potty training department.
I told my husband that you are my hero as all of your doxies are so beautiful and it is evident that they are all raised in a truly loving environment I will be contacting you in the future when we are ready to add to our doxie family again.
Thank you so much for blessing us with Bentley.
Sincerely,
Ronda Carter

Hi Robin,
Finn is doing well!! He is learning the puppy-pads quickly and not having many accidents. He doesn't go in his crate. Last night he slept through the night without needing to get out to go to the bathroom!! We are really enjoying him so much!!
Thanks for everything, we'll keep updating you and I am confident we'll get puppy #2 at some point :)

Just wanted to share Baby's 1st snow experience today. She had a great time but still has the Florida skin. ..lol. She is doing great. Healthy but still small. She is about 6 pound's so far. A ways to go to catch up my boy. He will eat anything but she is a princess and spoiled. She is doing wonderful and we love her heralding personalities. 6/7/2014

Hope this note finds you well. Wanted to send along a picture of the surprise Santa brought our daughter at Christmas 2013: Freckle is now 9 months old, smart as a whip and excels at cuddling, which I'm sure comes as no surprise. Her fetching game is also on the rise! Thanks again for all your hard work on Santa's behalf!

Hi Robin,
Just thought that I would drop you a line about how Savannah is doing. She is a character...great personality, loving and very healthy. We are having such fun with her. She has brought joy back into our house and has become a little sister to our German Shepherd, Barkely. She runs around the yard playing catch - loves soft balls! She is a speed demon! I just wanted to thank you and say how impressed - she would not be so sweet if she didn't get the start she did with you and the caring loving parents that she had. I wanted to write a testimonial, but not sure how to do so...write something and then upload? Let me know. Maybe one of these days I will want another puppy and I would not even think twice about contacting anyone but you.
KUDOS to you and your husband and your wonderful dogs!!! I wills send pics soon.
Thank you again,

Robin,
Ella has been the perfect addition to our family. She is sweet, playful and loving. Thank you for socializing her so well and taking great care of her when she was with you. Ella has a wonderful temperament and has filled our lives with joy. I appreciate you opening your home to us weekly. You were extremely accommodating to our schedule and I am sure our weekly visits helped Ella with her transition into our home. We are loving being her humans!
Best regards,

Hi Robin,
Hope all is well with you and your family. We just wanted to reach out and let you know how much we LOVE Dia. She is a precious member of our family and she has been all over with us. She travels on our boat, dines in restaurants with us and flies with us up North when we go to visit family. She is a great traveler, great boater and sits quietly in her bed, on a space chair, beside us at restaurants. Everyone who meets her, loves her. She is really a great pup. We are so grateful to have her in our life.
Now if we could only get her to poo outside…. J

It was an easy trip home as far as “Big Boy” was concerned. He has now become Francis McDuffie – Duffie to all of us that love him- he has made an easy transition and wins friends every time he meets someone. We are looking forward to watching him grow- he loves to play and has found grandchildren and little balls are great fun. Thank you for giving him such a great start – I know there will be nothing but great memories to come. I promise to send pics often .

Robin,
My name is Liz and my husband and I purchased the only female that Zoey had in her January litter. I just want to take the time to thank you for allowing us to visit with her every Saturday since she was born. It was so great to be able to see how she was progressing. I also feel that it has helped with her transition from your home to ours as it can be a huge undertaking for little ones to leave all they know to a place that is unfamiliar. I am happy to report that her name is Pheggy and not only has become a great addition to our family she has also become a staple in my office. She wakes up every morning gets in her travel bag and understands her ride to work. At night she sleeps in the bed with me and finds my neck the best place to nuzzle and sleep. I honestly could not have asked for a better puppy!!
I have attached some pictures so you can see how spoiled rotten she is! Thank you again for the best puppy EVER!! We love her more than words can say!

Hi Robin,
The trip home was fine he slept the whole way. He is doing wonderful, he has quite the personality. He has taken over the house and he has two grown humans at his beck and call. Weight was 3.8 when he went to the vet, but I am sure he probably 4 pounds or more by now.
Our experience with Robin was amazing. I found her website and the rest is history. When we went to visit our new puppy we saw what a wonderful and caring person Robin is. All of the puppies were
healthy happy and very well taken care of. Sometimes when you find a website things on that website are too good to be true. In this case we could not ask for a better experience. We have our little guy at home and we just love him. He is a beautiful, happy and healthy little guy. We would not hesitate to recommend Robin to anyone interested in getting a dachshund puppy.

Hi Robin.
Our Lacey is 14 weeks now. At her 12.5 week check up, she weighed 3.7 lbs. she loves to eat-really fast. It was so nice being able to visit every week at your house for 6 weeks. Lacey learned my voice by my 2nd or 3rd visit. She transitioned well into our home. I'm still amazed & impressed at how clean your home was with all your doxies. It's nice to know that you care about the dogs & puppies. I am so happy to have Lacey. Still working on some potty training & her biting/teething, but her cuddling makes up for everything. Here's the most recent picture of her. Thanks again.

Hi Robin,
It's official. A star is born! Jackson is a hit in our home, in the neighborhood and among our grand-kids. My husband who was skeptical about any dog at all before we got Jackson from you, now hates to leave him. The neighborhood kids come down to see if Jackson can come out to play! He is one awesome puppy.
I am more than pleased with Jack. He is smart, funny, independent, yet so very loving. He is about six pounds now and his color is getting prettier every day. House training is going well, though he hasn't connected all the dots yet. We have very few accidents. But I think he did one on purpose to challenge me!
We can't imagine our household without him now. I know you breed them, but we think Jack is one of a kind. Thanks for a great dog! Best wishes

We would like to express our extreme gratitude to Robin and Jeff for our newest additions to our family. Moose and Gambit are about as awesome as you could hope for in two little puppies. They are energetic and full of life. They love cuddles and playing hard. When my wife and I first started “casually” looking for a Dachshund breeder we were a bit overwhelmed. All of the moderately priced pups were pretty far and quite honestly not really what we were looking for. To the opposite point the type that we were looking for (either a long hair or a wire hair) were crazy expensive. That is when we discovered the Nest. We immediately got the sense that this was meant to be as there were two of the most beautiful Piebald Long Hair boys we had seen in all of our searches (we had never even seen a piebald coat until we started looking more seriously)… and they were right in our back yard, less than 20 miles away. Pound for pound they were the most adorable puppies in the state of Florida. We promptly contacted Robin and set up a time to meet with her and all of the puppies. When we got there we instantly fell in love with all of them. Not just the ones that we were looking at, but the rest of the nest as well. These are some of the most mild mannered puppies on the face of the earth and are all super easy to fall in love with. We proceeded to make return visits for the next couple of weeks visiting with Robin and the pups, and every time we showed up Robin was there to meet us with a smile on her face and a puppy in her arm. We picked up the boys after 3 or 4 weeks of visitations and were a little bummed that we wouldn’t be visiting with Robin weekly, but will definitely remain in touch. It quickly became the highlight of our week visiting with her and all of the puppies.
My wife and I cannot recommend Robin’s Dachshund Nest enough to anyone looking for a Dachshund puppy. Not only are her puppies absolutely gorgeous but Robin and her husband are in this business for the right reasons. They love these animals and want to share that love with others. We just simply cannot say enough good things about these folks. If you are in the market for Daschund and are willing to make the trip to Jacksonville, FL you will not be disappointed.

Hi Robin! I hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday season! I just wanted to thank you for my sweet Rosabella, who I call "Ella" for short, though I often affectionately call her my "Ella Bella Bear." :-) She is the light of my life and has handled her transition into her new home with such finesse! I kid you not, it took her less than a week to potty train her! Once she realized that going to the potty in the right place = chicken, it didn't take long for her to connect the dots. My previous experience with potty training dogs had always proven to be time consuming with a whole lot of consistency and patience needed, so I was pleasantly shocked at how quickly Ella caught on. Extremely impressive for such a young little puppy with a puppy-sized bladder! She has also already learned to "sit," "come" and "shake." She's extremely smart, healthy, happy and absolutely gorgeous; a very well balanced pup! She turns heads wherever I take her and people shower her with compliments all the time. Her coat reminds me of a beautiful Monet painting with all the shading of reds, toffee and black...kind of like watercolor. So pretty! I love spoiling her and she is enjoying her life as a pampered princess. She's definitely a mommy's girl. :-) She enjoys chasing me around the house and then cuddling with me afterward. Her favorite spot to sleep is right under my neck and she's the best little cuddle buddy. She has such a sweet and playful personality and has really brightened up my life. She constantly keeps me smiling and laughing and I couldn't have found a better companion. I love her so much!
I really appreciate how you welcomed me into your home for visits and for keeping me updated with photos of Ella as she grew. I also truly appreciate the scent blanket you provided that helped make her transition a lot easier. Thank you for adorable little shirts and doxie Christmas tree ornaments as well! Ella looks so adorable in her little shirts! It's the little details like that which separate you from other breeders and I will continue to recommend you to everyone I know. If I ever decide to give Ella a little sibling, you will be the only breeder I'll ever go to. All of your doxies are stunningly beautiful and I'm so glad I found you, because good responsible breeders are hard to come by these days and you are the best of them all! It has been such a pleasure getting to know you and I will stay in touch and keep you updated as Ella grows, so be on the lookout for more pics! :-) I hope you and your family have a happy new year! Thank you so much for making mine perfect!

Hi there! Bella's mommy here (red sable from Snowy's Christmas 2015 litter), bringing you an update with pics! ☺ She is doing so well... is spoiled to the bone and I wouldn't have it any other way! As you can see, she has quite the big personality. This little girl loves to smile when she plays...it's hilarious! She has even become quite popular on a Dachshund Lovers Facebook Group that I'm a member of. 2 complete strangers actually asked for 8x10 photos of Bella, which was kind of cool! She's such a happy girl with a tail that never stops wagging...a healthy blend of sweet & sassy. ☺ Sometimes I joke that she's a Labrador stuck in a dachshund body, because she has so much energy and LOVES to play "Fetch!" Her best friend is my aunt's big Shar-Pei/Labrador mix named Tootsie, who is so gentle with her, but boy do they play hard! They love to wrestle & chase one another around the house. Bella gets so excited when she visits her & they are just the cutest together! She is actually getting spayed this coming Thursday. I'm sure Bella isn't going to be happy about wearing "the cone of shame" while she recovers. Poor baby! I'm blessed to have an wonderful veterinarian in my family, so I know she will be in great hands, but I'm still a nervous mommy.
I have included some new photos of my Bella....some are downright hilarious. As you can see, she is a toothy girl. Heehee! She actually "smiles" when she plays & makes the funniest faces. Love my silly girl! By the way, I've been following your website & have really enjoyed seeing all the pics from Zoey, Carmella & Mocha's litters. They are all so adorable! Such beautiful doxie puppies! And let me just say, the little piebald in Zoey's litter is seriously the most beautiful piebald I have ever seen! The markings on that sweet baby are so gorgeous! I would love to see what that little pup looks like when he/she is full grown. Anyhoo, thanks again for my sweet Bella! She sure brightens every facet of my life. I hope you are all doing well!
Take care,

Hi Robin,
Oscar is doing well! Had a good veterinarian visit and seems to be happy! He is potty training pretty good. He likes to snuggle, but also likes his own bed. He likes our back yard and listens good (smart!) We need to find out what the best bones are for his age/size, since his biting/teething is pretty fierce! I didn't see anything that was "nalgahide" at Petsmart. If you have any other suggestions about that, we appreciate it! We are so happy and in love with him and our son Zach is doing so well with him! I will attach a few pics, thanks for checking up and let's stay in touch :)

Hi Robin :)
Thank you so much for checking in on us. First and foremost, WE ADORE our puppy. He is the sweetest little guy and he is so beautiful. We decided to name him Augie because he reminded my husband and me of a cartoon dog we remembered from our childhood, Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy.
He has been such a good puppy. He relieves himself on the pee pads. He has a schedule for eating and he practically dances every time we say “supper time”. He already sleeps through the night and has worked his way to sleeping on our bed. LOL We never owned a dachshund before and I can say that these are amazing dogs. I also have to say, you breed the most beautiful ones in the whole world :D The temperament and sweetness is a testament to you. He is a very peaceful little animal and this is really amazing. My husband and I break out in laughter when he does, what we call, “his Snoopy howl”. It’s so cute when he runs because his back end rolls out like a fire engine LOL
Already, we can’t even imagine life without Augie and you are due a big hug and a huge thank you. I already had a tiny toy poodle and she loves Augie too. They play together and it makes me very happy that she has a new little friend. If anyone is in search of the perfect puppy I can give you AAA, Top Notch recommendation. Robin, your puppies are the very best. God bless you and your family. Thank you so much :)

Robin,
Thank you for breeding such perfect Dachshunds! My new little guy is such a delight! He handled the 2 hour drive
home quite well and adjusted easily to his new home. He joins my 4 y/o Dachshund, Tucker, who was not particularly pleased with my bringing Chewie home. Tucker is older, layed back, mellow and Chewie is high energy and wants to play. In Tucker's relief is that Chewie takes naps. It took almost a week for him to sleep almost 8 hours at night. It amazes me how quickly he understood the house breaking process. He responded to his name almost immediately. He is truly of good breeding. I was impressed with you and your dogs from my first visit. If I decide to add to my household you will be my first call. But for now, thank you. I am so happy with my Chewie, and by the way the name fits but every 2-3 ft
he has chew toys or bones. He definitely has taken over!!!

Robin,
Our family would like to thank you for our precious Rudy. He is so sweet and assimilating beautifully into our home. I can't thank you enough for all of the photographs you sent us since he was born. We will certainly send you photographs back as he grows. It was a pleasure working with you and your husband, Jeff. We appreciate the time that you spent with us on the phone answering our questions and ensuring that we were prepared to receive Rudy.
Rudy was anxious on our way back to Palm Beach. Lily snuggled him on her lap, but he was shaking a good bit of the way. He has grown more and more comfortable over the last two days and I will attach a photo of him sleeping yesterday afternoon. He and our other dog, Sheldon, have been getting along great. We have started the process of house training him and except for a few mishaps, he is doing well. He is happy and playful, and is eating and drinking. That's all for now! Many thanks again.
Best,
Rachel, Rudy & Sheldon

Hi Robin,
Bella and Willow are doing great!
I have been a dachshund lover for more than 30 years. These are my two newest babies Bella (the older sister) and Willow (the blue eyed baby) both from 2 different litters of Carmella and Koko. Both pups have very unique and adorable personalities and are a great addition to our family of 3 dogs including our 10 year old rescue terrier mix who is the “den mother” over the two girls. Robin’s dogs and pups are well cared for and loved and she was very accommodating allowing us to visit our pups every weekend. These two girls are precious and special to our family and I am so thankful that I found Robin after the loss of our 17 year old black and tan male doxie in 2015. These little girls have brought so much life and love to our home.
Thank You,
Ellie W.

Abby is doing well. She can sit and fetch she hates the leash and is pooping on the pads but peeing is a challenge. She slept through the night day three and holds her pee until morning when she gets out of her kennel . Has fun running in the yard with the other our dogs and does great on car rides and out with me . I take her with me when I get my hair done and they all just love her .

Hi Jeff and Robin!
Sunny is growing like a weed. We love him so! Here are a few pics I took this morning. We can't wait to bring Shamrock home with us in two weeks. May we pick him up on the morning of the 21st?
Have a great weekend!

Hi Robin and Jeff!
My family and I are so in love with our two little dachshunds! Sunny and Shamrock are two peas in a pod. Sunny is now 16 weeks old and Shamrock is 9 weeks old. They love to play tough and then snuggle with each other. We cannot get over how easy both have been to potty train. Their sweet and friendly attitude are largely due to how much love you gave them during their first 8 weeks. Even our vet said that he could tell that you took time to love on them. Neither one of them made a fuss when the vet trimmed their nails. We were in awe! Thank you for ensuring that they were both loved from the beginning. You both are very kind and care deeply about each and every dachshund you raise. We cannot tell you thanks you enough! We have received numerous glowing compliments on how beautiful and well behaved Sunny and Shamrock are. Strangers can't help but want to hold and love on them both. They both are as healthy as can be! Thank you Robin and Jeff for raising such beautiful Dachshunds! They are very special to us! Hope you enjoy the pictures!
Sincerely,
Charles and Stephanie Helman

I am happy to share my story of finding Robin and her dachshunds.
I lost my wonderful companion, Levi, in January of 2017. He was a brown, long-haired dachshund who was, as we all say, "the best dog in the world." During the months that followed I slowly healed my heart and began to think about finding another buddy to fill the void in my heart. While researching breeders online I discovered Robin, a loyal and loving local breeder of beautiful baby doxies! I contacted Robin via email and told her I was just beginning to search for another companion, explaining the heartbreak of losing my Levi.
Within a few weeks I got an email that notified me of a little fella, a 4-week old black long-haired pup, who would be available out of a current litter. She informed me that I could visit to make a decision. We set an appointment for the next day and I fell madly in love with this little smudge of a pup, Doc Martin.
Robin was so accommodating to me! Since I lived local I broke every visitation guideline and saw him as often as she would allow, which was probably a great inconvenience to Robin and her family, but never once did she turn me away. The love in Robin's heart as a breeder is above obvious. She absolutely adores her babies and the tenderness with which she interacts with them is so sweet to witness. The puppies are kept close to Robin, indoors, in a private room where the babies can be with their mother in a peaceful and clean environment. For the first 2 weeks she even keeps them in her bedroom so she can keep a close eye on progress. Then, they are migrated to the private room where they have more room to roam and grow. These puppies are well cared for and loved from day one.
If you are looking for a puppy dachshund I completely, without reservation, recommend Ms. Robin in Jacksonville, FL. She is committed, loving, caring, and gives her babies the very best start in life. Please contact her if you are looking.....you will not be sorry.

Hi Robin and Jeff,
The puppy's new name is Buddy. He is my little buddy and follows me where ever I go. He is so sweet. Everyone who meets him falls in love with him immediately. Thank you for taking such good care of him! I took him to the vet today and he received a clean bill of health. I am attaching a few pictures we took today. He is so photogenic!
Thank you again for this beautiful little baby! He will surely be spoiled rotten!

Hi Robin,
I've attached a new pictures Francis and Rubie! They are BEST friends and love long walks so they can look for squirrels. Sometimes they roll in stinky things they find in the grass too...Ewww!
We hope you are doing well. I still check in on your website to see all the puppy pictures. Keep up the "good breeding" and enjoy the rest of your summer! Rubie loves her clothes, but Francis gets very sad when we put clothes on her... Franny likes to go "Natural".

Robin and Jeff,
Just wanted to tell you how much Robert and I are enjoying our Amber. She has brought so much joy into our retirement years. She spent a few hours with her two half brothers at our daughter's house where she had a great time playing. When we took her to the vet for her first check-up, the vet was very complimentary of you as she was so healthy. Amber loves meeting people. We believe you had a role in making her so friendly. Keep up your standards as you breed happiness for others.

Hi Robin and Jeff! I just wanted to send you an update on my Bella from Snowy's 2015 Christmas litter! Bella will turn 2 at the end of this month and she has grown into such an amazing little dachshund. She is beautiful, brilliant and absolutely hilarious. I like to call her "the world's happiest puppy," because her tail never stops wagging and she loves meeting new people and pets. She has been a Godsend in my life and I want to thank you again for this sweetheart. I can't imagine my life without her. I hope you are doing well! I have enclosed a few pictures of Bella. One is a "then & now" photo. :-) Take care and thanks a billion!
God bless,

She has already learned to ring the bell to go outside and sleeps through the night (in our bed of course!!) She is getting along great with her new big brother Harley! You can always find them together getting into some kind of mischief! She is filling our hearts with so much love and laughter! Thank you so much! We will send more picture updates soon!"

Robin, one year ago this little nugget came into our lives. She is the sweetest soul. Thank you for blessing us with her . Abby is loving and a great giver of hugs and snuggles .

Robin and Jeff,
The female is our Bridget. She is fearless and so adventurous! She loves to play in the sprinkler and chase the flowers as they blow in the wind. She likes to "help" in the garden. The male is our brave"Bengi". He is called brave Bengi because he jumped in the swimming pool this morning as I was brushing the sides. He immediately went into the doggie paddle as I tried to guide him with the brush to the stairs on the other side from the deep end. He was so brave! I was the one going nuts.... He is growing slowly but steadily. The Doctor visit was last week and she said he was at the low end for weight but was strong and healthy. I will try to get pictures and write a testimonial when Ron comes back this weekend from Virginia where he is working at the shipyard. The two are napping or my hands would be full of "puppies" instead of writing this to you. Thank you for your good baby puppy care, they are my joy!

Hi Robin,
We are absolutely in LOVE with our little guy. He is so spunky and funny. We haven't laughed so hard in years. We named him Scooby but we end up calling him "Mister Tough Stuff". He is well adjusted and is going good with potty training. My other dachshund is adjusting to him being around. They play a bit but he is a little too energetic for her at times. I will be more than happy to text you some photos and write a testimony. We will NEVER re-home any of our pups, they are our family for life. I am so thankful for our little guy, he makes us so happy. Thank you for everything and I'll write a review as soon as I can. Have a great say.
Sincerely,
Naomi

Robin,
Hey, Rosie is doing so good. We could not imagine life without her. She is so precious I will be glad to write a testimonial. I have gotten one picture of Rosie so far sleeping and I will take a couple more when she wakes up. As far as not keeping her, there is no way we would be able to be without her now. Besides, all our friends would be fighting over her. I will do a testimonial and send a good picture if I can get her to stop moving for a second. She is the sweetest, smartest, cutest dog I think we have had.

In April of 2016 we started searching to add a new member to our family. 2 years prior we lost our rescued dachshund John Wayne. He was 21 when he passed. We had Jessie James our 10 year old dachshund that was very lonely. We started researching rescuing another dachshund. Unfortunately we stayed on the waiting list at The Dachshund rescue for quiet some time. During this wait we rescued 2 cats that were over a year old from our neighborhood. After speaking to our vet they recommended we get a puppy instead of an older dachshund. Anyone the owns dachshunds know that an older dachshund has a lot of trouble adjusting to a home with older animals. So in April 2018 we had the pleasure of meeting Robin and Jeff. We found out they had a boy dachshund that was 6 weeks old. I went to visit him. I fell in love immediately and decided I would name him Doc Holiday. Robin was very kind inviting me into her home to visit Doc. The puppies were well taken care of and used to being held and loved. During that 1st visit with Doc I had the pleasure of holding the last boy in the same litter. He was very quiet and shy. I gave Doc a hug and a kiss bye and scratching the head of the other male puppy I noticed when I put Doc back in the pen the other little male pup cuddled right up to Doc. I scheduled with Robin to visit Doc again the next Saturday. During the week I couldn’t get my mind off Docs brother and how him and Doc cuddled together. I was worried that my 10 year old dachshund couldn’t keep up with the playful demands of a puppy. Jessie has severe joint issues and I was worried that he couldn’t run around and wrestle with a puppy. So I contacted Robin and told her I also wanted Docs brother. I just couldn’t leave him behind. I thank god every day My husband and I decided to also get Him. We couldn’t just get Doc Holiday without having Wyatt Earp. I went the following Saturday to visit our 2 boys. Robin was so kind letting me spend so much time with our 2 boys. Robin made sure to keep us updated on their vet visits and how they were doing. I was very excited when at 9 weeks we were able to bring them home. They fit in our family like they were made for us. Because Robin and Jeff loved the pups they were used to being loved on. They love sitting on my lap. We also were pleased to see both rescued cats also bonded to the boys easily. Jessie welcomed his brothers like any older brother would. He sniffed them and played with them for the 1st couple days. The boys entertain themselves. They are so close that if one has something the other has to have it. I figured out quickly just because I purchased 2 of the same thing didn’t make them not want what the other had. They are now 3 months old and they are happy healthy sweet babies. Doc and Wyatt has the best attitudes I have ever seen. They love playing with each other and their brother and 2 sisters Josie Wales and Yo Simmity Sam (Sammy) for short. We highly recommended Robin and Jeff as responsible Dachshund breeders. I am sure when we are ready to add to our family again we will gladly go to them.

Hi Robin & Jeff
Our little girl, Kailua is doing great. She was so tiny & delicate when we picked her up, but she is getting so big already. It’s taken a bit of time but her big sister Maui has started to share most of her toys. Yesterday was the first time we caught them in the doggy bed together. Mark and I are thrilled we were able to get one of Lady’s puppies.
Thanks,
Randi

Hi Robin! Bean is doing great! I took her to Auburn with me for about a week before I moved home for the summer and everyone was obsessed with her! They couldn't believe how small she was. Although she has grown a lot she is still pretty small. She is 16 weeks now and weighs 5lbs. She is very energetic and loves everyone! She isn't scared of anything and wants to say hello to everybody. You can tell that she was socialized well as a puppy. She loves being held but is also very good at entertaining herself. Bean is wonderful and we love her so much! My grandparents loved her so much they want one just like her. She has kept most of her dapple but she definitely looks more red than when we first got her. She kept the blue patches on one of her eyes and it makes her look extra mischievous, and she has a little white patch on one of her ears.

Hi Robin,
Just a note to let you know that Oscar is doing wonderful, He is growing and being spoiled rotten!! Lol, He is on my heals everywhere I go, He sleeps with me at night, He either starts out in his little bed that's on my bed or he sleeps right up against me with his little head either by my chin or my head!! Once he goes to sleep and is sleeping pretty good I move him to his bed and he doesn't move!! He has found some play mates, we have outside cats and they are so friendly and loveable that they all play with him, we have 2 kittens that were born the 1st of April and they are always playing with him when he goes outside on our porch, that's where the cats are at most of the time!
We have some big inside dogs, 2 labs and a beagle/bassett hound and the 2 labs are fine with him, they don't play but they just lay there and he tries to get them to play but they just ignore him, the beagle/Bassett doesn't care for him at all, she growls at him but she has been told that he's a baby and to be nice!! His first time in the grass was funny, He looked at us like what the crap is this stuff, we are trying to get him to learn to potty outside which he has a couple of times but he would rather come back into the house and go on his pads!! LoL My husband thinks he is just wonderful, He was ok with Callie my other one that passed away but she always barked at him and wasn't thrilled with him at first, needless to say he is very well loved and very very spoiled!! LoL Ok, I'm done, I will keep in touch with you from time to time to let you know how he's doing and will try to send you pictures on here!! If you ever have a short hair puppy please let me know, would love to get another one and a playmate for Oscar!!
Take care,
Sherry Craig

Hello doxie-family!
I’m attaching a photo of our beauties Francis and Rubie. They went to doggy day camp yesterday and met a new friend. The dog in the middle is McKenzie... such a beauty! Francis is on the left and little Rue is on the right.
Hope you and the dogs are doing well. We love Francis and Rubie more and more! Thank you again for raising such loving doggies! PS: in a few weeks, the girls have their first ever “weiner dog race”. I’ll be sure to take lots of pictures to share with you!

Robin,
Thought you would like to see your gorgeous Sunny. She weighs in a just a little over 7 pounds, and she loves going out and meeting people. Remember that plastic toy ball from the dollar store you gave us? Has a smaller cat toy ball with a bell inside? We call that her “barky ball.” She goes bananas for it. We can’t even leave it out. Hope all is well with you and your pups, Genelle and Brad Hamman

Dear Robin & Jeff,
I have owned Dachshund Most of my life and have bought them from various breeders even rescued a couple.
Our sweet neighbors bought two of your beautiful dogs several years ago and I am so glad that they introduced us to you and Jeff. It has been over 16 years since we brought a puppy into our home and all I can say is that little DeDe has been making us laugh since we brought her home.
I have never bought a puppy where I could go see her weekly in a breeders home and get to know her before bringing her into our home.
Robin & Jeff care for each puppy as if it was going to be their own personal pet Their advice really made me feel at ease, especially since we had not bought a puppy in many many years.
DeDe Diebel, sometimes known as triple D is a happy, healthy and smart little girl. Her disposition is wonderful.
If you are looking for a healthy well bred dachshund I wouldn’t think of going anywhere except to Robins Nest.
Robin and Jeff, thank you so much for inviting us into your home for all the visits and allowing us to become part of a very large family that own your beautiful pups.
Ricky& Chuck.

Hey Robin!
My mom wanted me to send you updated pictures of the brats at almost 2 years old. Cooper first then Heidi. They are doing well. Copper is 18 lbs and Heidi is 10 lbs. Both are healthy and very ornery.
Hope you are well.

Robin,
We couldn’t be happier with our sweet new baby girl. Her name is Millie and she has the sweetest disposition. She is very smart and is learning very quickly. Our only regret is that we didn’t buy another puppy from the same litter!

Hi - here's Tillie sleeping. The only time she'll sit for a photo. She's a sweet, kind dog that carries a calm, yet playful personality. I'm forever grateful for her breeding and care as a pup, as she fit seamlessly into my family. She's everything I hoped her to be and more. She's been twice to the vet and once more for rabies vac. Just perfect. Thank you for raising her so well.
Thanks again for a wonderful companion.

Hi Robin and Jeff,
We just wanted to send a pic of the pups. They are doing great. By the way Robin. Because of a conflict in the family, Chloe's name was changed to Pippy. She is the boss and the leader. She is all energy and personality. Bandit is just "chill". They love each other dearly, and are inseparable. Yesterday they were weighed at the vet. Bandit is 11 pounds and little miss Pippy is 7.7 lbs. Hope you are doing great.
Thanks,
Louise and Roger Rowe

Robin:
Molly is doing great! Seems hard to believe that we have had her in our home now for over a month. On Friday she will go to the vet for the second time since we picked her up from you. She is healthy, growing every day, and keeps us on our toes with her playfulness. As our daughter says, “ Molly is training the two of you!” We want to thank you for everything you and Jeff did to make our puppy buying experience so smooth and wonderful. We look forward to the days ahead and the continuing adventure with our cute little girl.

We want to thank you so much for our sweet Belle. She has been an amazing addition to the family. David and I are so thankful we made the journey to Florida from Texas, we couldn't imagine a more perfect and healthy puppy! We appreciate you and Jeff keeping us so well informed through out the process. We never had to worry about anything, and we're able to focus on how excited we were to get Belle. When it is time for our next Dachshund (Belle could use a sister) I don't think we could find anyone better to gain a family member from if we tried!
We attached some pictures, and will be sure to send updates :)
Be well,
Sara & David
P.S. Jeff, David and Belle say "Roll Tide"

Hello Robin,
We just wanted to do our yearly birthday hello from Otto & Lola. Can you believe they are 9 years old!! Both are still very full of energy & play together all the time. They are smart and very spoiled. We all love them. Otto is amazing after having back surgery 18 months ago. Lola has lots of grey around her face and still the boss. Lol I saw you were very busy with lots of pups recently. They were all beautiful.
I hope you and your family are all well and safe. Take care. Love, Cathy,Jim Tison. Otto & Lola

Robin & Jeff,
Mayleigh has been a wonderful addition to our family. She is a small fur ball full of personality and cuteness. The process of getting her was seamless and simple. We were debating whether or not we should add a dachshund to our lives, and we are so glad we decided to add her! She’s had her puppy moments, but they are overcome with her constant playfulness and personality! Thanks again for such a wonderful experience and allowing us to purchase such a precious gem from you guys!
Thanks,
Drew

Thank you for such a great puppy. Ruby is a smart, beautiful and happy girl. Our best puppy yet. She is our fourth over the years. Robin was easy to work with and would recommend her as a breeder who has excellent standards and gorgeous pups.
Thanks,

We were looking for a companion for our 1 year old long haired dachshund Roscoe when I came across Robin's website. I got on the waiting list and in a few weeks Robin and Jeff contacted me about their newest litter. Robin and Jeff stayed in contact and added pictures of the puppies daily. In early June 2020 we brought Rudy home. He adjusted very quickly to his new home, loves his brother and follows him everywhere. He is very smart and so sweet. He's a major kisser. Robin's dachshunds are top notch!
Thanks,
Kris P.

Hi Robin & Jeff,
Our sweet little piebald Aghi is doing great! He's a happy, healthy, smart pup. We are so grateful we found you guys and we were able to get him from you. You guys made the whole process very easy and personal for us, which I really appreciate. We loved being able to go to the webpage and see updated pictures every day. If anyone is looking for a great place to get a dachshund I will always send them your way. Thank you so much!

Robin and Jeff were very accommodating to my husband, Bob and I. We were able to visit our female puppy at 6 weeks and 7 weeks. Do to the COVID-19, they normally start visits earlier. All the puppies were well taken care of and very active, playful and healthy. The area they stayed in were very clean. Any questions we had, were answered in full detail.
We were very satisfied buying our female puppy from Robin and Jeff. We would do it again if the time arose.
Our female puppy, was 8 weeks old when we brought her home. We were given a health certificate from a licensed Veterinarian, along with a goodie bag and a blanket with the female puppie’s mother scent on it.
Yours fondly,
Nancy and Bob

Robin and Jeff-
We have taken Gracie to our veterinarian two times. Gracie thinks she’s so special. They make over her every time I take her in. Gracie is growing. She is very adventurous, active, playful and loving. She has shown her stubborn side from time to time. She’s learning. She is going to the door or starts to whine when she has to go outside. Yea! Gracie is a real joy and a wonderful addiction to our family.
I pray you and Jeff are staying well. Enjoy her pictures.
Yours fondly,
Nancy and Bob

Bonita is just the best. Healthy ,cute, smart. From day 1 she used the puppy pads, all the time !!!!!! I can tell by how she watches us that she is learning how the world works. She is a joy to be with. I have no doubt all this is due to her having the best care from you starting with her parents. I would not hesitate to recommend your kennel as A-1. Who knows where life takes us, I would come back for another pup.

Hi Robin!
Ziggy is doing great! He is growing fast and is full of life! The vet says he has two modes- off and on- and he recently enjoyed a very active hiking trip to North Carolina. He’s also super sweet and cuddly (when he’s not looking for something to cut teeth on). Thank you again for bringing him into our lives. Robin was excellent to work with! This was our first time working with a breeder and she was so patient and kind to answer the multitude of questions we had for her. When a pup was available for us, she sent ample pictures and provided an easy process to confirm the adoption. We were able to visit up to 4 times before bringing our little Ziggy home. Each time, she graciously allowed us into her home to visit with the puppies. We are so happy with our puppy and we are so glad that Robin brought our little family together. We will definitely contact her again when it’s time to bring home another pup!”
Take care!

Robin,
Hello and Merry Christmas!! We just wanted to send you a quick note on how Zoui is doing. He all up to date on his shots and vet checkups have been spot on. He’s made himself at home and is just a little joy. Potty training has been really the only little challenge as expected and he’s doing better each day with that. He weighs 10lbs, eats good, plays REALLY good (and a little to much sometimes LOL) has a GORGEOUS coat, demeanor, sleeps through the night, snuggles, etc. he’s a little sweetheart. Hope you all are doing well, God Bless!
Thank You,
Donald H.

Robin,
We named our special little girl Blu! When she is in the sunshine you can understand why we named her Blu as her skin and hair are a true silvery blue. She is tiny in size but enormous in intelligence. She has been a true blessing to our family and is such a sweet girl. We love her so much and you did an amazing job getting her ready to join our family. She is happy and health and we appreciate her every day.
Thank you so much!

Hi Robin!!! She is completely adorable and has acclimated so thoroughly into our family. I will send you a short video of her feisty-ness and how she and Sophie play, but wanted to share these pics. Even Tom Lasagna, our Blue Russian cat, just loves her and they chase each other around the house and play fight - it’s so cute how the other animals care for her and check on her if she cries. Her first vet appointment is this Saturday, so I’ll send an update after that, but she eats good and seems to be a bit bigger but not much. The purple sweater she wears is an XXS and we still have to roll the sleeves. We think she’s the most adorable Doxie ever & I’m sure you’ll agree by these pictures. Robin’s Nest is the BEST! I purchased Remington from Robin shortly after his birth in November 2020 and picked him up in January 2021. Remi was the best decision I could have made! He is easy going and very friendly toward all he meets and that was quite important to me, especially because I have young grandchildren. He is five months old now and has eased quickly into my family and into my heart.
Due to distance, I was not able to meet Remi until the day I picked him up, but I knew early on I was going to have a great dog simply by communicating with Robin. All questions I had - before and after pick-up - were responded to immediately and it is quite evident Robin is not only very knowledgeable about this amazing breed but is extremely eager to help out by answering questions and giving advice long after the purchase is complete. A very big PLUS for those new to dachshunds!!
I was so happy with the experience that I plan to purchase another puppy from Robin; I cannot imagine going anywhere else. Thank you, Robin, for the joy you have given me!

Hi Robin and Jeff,
Winston and Daisy are doing wonderful. Just got their second set of shots today, had a check up 2 weeks ago (said they would do their second round of when they hit 12 weeks of age) and have clean bills of health, the vet today said they were both the picture of perfect health. Two weeks ago Daisy was 4 pounds 4 ounces, today she was 4 pounds 12 ounces. Two weeks ago Winston was 4 pounds 12 ounces and today he was 5 pounds 8 ounces. They love each other tremendously and will mimic the other’s movements, even when sleeping, one rolls over and within a minute the other will too. They are such bundles of love and everyone that meets them falls in love with them. I tell everyone where I got them and give them your website to visit. Thank you so much for all you did with them when they were babies, you can tell they came from a loving home and know nothing but love. They are so cute when they play together, one always wants what the other one has and getting 2 of the same thing doesn’t matter, they want what the other has, no matter if they have an exact duplicate lying in front of them. Tug of war is another favorite of theirs and they will tug and tug and growl and bark until they both are exhausted and fall asleep. Winston is a momma’s boy and Daisy is boisterous and loud, boy can she bark. She has no problem telling you exactly what she thinks, at any time, day or night.
I really appreciate you giving me the opportunity to give these two a home, thank you. They are such a joy to have on my life.
I hope you both are well. I will try to do better on updates. Here are some pics of the babies so you can see how their coats have changed and how beautiful they have become.
Thank you again, I cannot express how important a part of my life they have become.
I hope their siblings are doing well in their homes too!
Take care,
Lisa

Thanks for reaching out.
We named her Ilsa, and she is such a beautiful and wonderful puppy!

Hi Robin and Jeff,
First I want to thank you for this beautiful little girl we call Gracie. She is absolutely beautiful and the sweetest little puppy. My Vet says she is perfect.
